How to Read
Analysis Results

FakeRadar doesn't give definitive answers. It surfaces analytical signals. This page helps you interpret results correctly.

3 Result Types

Strong AI Signal

Patterns indicating AI-generated content were detected in this material. However, saying "definitely fake" is not accurate; this is an analytical assessment.

High signal density
Low AI Signal

No distinct AI-generation signal was found. This does not mean "definitely real"; it simply means the current models did not detect anything.

Low signal density
Inconclusive Result

The model could not produce a sufficiently confident decision. Image compression, format conversion, or post-processing may have had an effect. Try again with higher-quality content.

Insufficient signal clarity

Score Ranges

The analysis returns a two-dimensional score: AI signal strength and model confidence.

AI Signal Score
0.00 – 0.30
Low Signal
0.30 – 0.70
Medium Signal
0.70 – 1.00
Strong Signal
Confidence Score
≥ 0.85
High Confidence
0.55 – 0.84
Medium Confidence
< 0.55
Low Confidence

Factors Affecting Results

The following conditions may negatively affect analysis accuracy:

Image Compression

JPEG or WebP compression can degrade AI signatures, leading to inconclusive results.

Re-saving

The more times content is saved and converted, the weaker the original signal becomes.

Post-processing Effects

Filters, color correction, or retouching can alter signal distribution.

Screenshots

Uploading as a screenshot increases the risk of error from both compression and pixelation.

When to Exercise Caution

Know the Limits

  • Never use FakeRadar results as the sole source in legal proceedings
  • A single analysis is not sufficient; use multiple tools and sources
  • In high-stakes situations, independent expert evaluation may be required
  • Evaluate results together with the context and source of the content
